As a captain with the New York City Department of Corrections for more than 20 years, a sports coach, a member of the Suffolk County Community Emergency Response Team and small business owner with an M.B.A., Errol Toulon Jr. understands the needs of his neighbors in the 12th Legislative District.

Errol is that special blend of public servant, volunteer and entrepreneur that makes him the right person at the right time to represent the people of our community.

  • He is a retired NYC Correction Captain having been assigned to the Emergency Service Unit and Firearms & Tactics Unit.
  • He has been a resident of Lake Grove for almost 20 years.
  • He has been married for almost 25 years to his wife Susan and has two sons, Errol III and Justin.
  • He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Administration. Has an Advanced degree in Homeland Security Management and trained in Weapons of Mass Destruction.
  • Errol has participated in many community events, including coaching Soccer, Basketball, Baseball and Hockey.
  • He was a volunteer EMT with the Centereach Fire Department and is currently a member of the Suffolk County Community Emergency Response Team.
